As Covid-19 continues to spread, it looks like a lot of us will be quarantined longer than we think.
Schools have been cancelled. Non-essential workers are being asked to work from home if possible. Then those in the medical field, grocery retail and sanitation are working harder and longer hours to keep up with the demand of the virus.
This can present a host of problems for working parents. With schools and daycares being closed, parents have suddenly been left with no childcare when they have to go to work, in the case of essential workers.
Signet Nannies; Atlanta’s best Nanny Agency can help you at this time. We are committed to the peace of mind of our families and we have chosen to maintain a singular focus on childcare. We can help with working at home parents, medical field workers or anyone who at this time needs peace of mind in helping with the care of their children.
We will seek and match you with caregivers who are the right fit for your family’s current needs. We have chosen to represent high quality childcare candidates. All our caregivers have significant childcare experience and are CPR & First Aid certified.
Each candidate goes through our nine-point check system which includes:
- Detailed Caregiver Application
- Phone Interview
- Competency Assessment
- Personality Assessment
- In-Person Interview
- In-Depth Reference Checking
- Social Media Review
- Background Check
- Workplace Behavioral Assessment
We can offer you a variety of services which includes:
- Full-Time Live-in Nanny
- Full-Time Live-out Nanny
- Part-time Nannies
- Temporary Nannies
- Newborn Care Specialists
But we also know that at this time, you may not want to have your childcare extended to anyone else and we respect that. We would still love to help you right now by listing some of our favorite resources and activities to help this journey go more smoothly.

Other Ideas to Help Keep Your Kids Stay Busy:
Baking– Try a new cake or bread recipe. Depending on the age of the child, you can include them in most of the process.
Housework– Assign them household chores that have to be completed every day. Make a chart with stickers for younger children.
Yard work– Let your children burn off energy in the sun by helping with those chores.
At Home Exercise Routine– Since you aren’t going to the gym, workout at home with YouTube. Get your kids to work out right along with you. Teach them how to do pushups and burpees. Let them have a jumping jack competition. See who can stretch the most in Yoga. The possibilities are endless!
One thing that I would like to recommend if you plan on taking full care of your kiddo(s), is to start a routine immediately. Kids thrive on routine and if you are working from home with your children, you will need a well-coordinated routine.

We will get through this. It will be a struggle, but we will rise up and be stronger for it!
